Rooted in the African Growth Story
Investors come to Fusion for our expertise. African corporates come to us for creative funding. In both roles we strive for quality and integrity. Fusion has its headquarters in London and Nairobi, with investing and lending operations across East Africa.
Our commercial rewards come from a disciplined, ethical approach to investing. Three principles guide how we work, which we call the Three Rs.
We use our experience and our intelligence to analyze opportunities and to deliver quality investment performance. We look – then look again – before we leap. We value our reputation. We prefer steady, long-term growth to unnecessary short-term risk. We have zero-tolerance of corrupt practices in our own business, and when dealing with others.
We are a commercial organization, motivated by targets and the need to deliver. We understand that investors are seeking healthy returns in a market where risk must be managed. We understand the needs of emerging entrepreneurial businesses. We flex our services to suit the needs of the markets where we operate. We work in partnership with our clients, to deliver mutually advantageous outcomes.
We live where we invest – in Africa. We respect the people and places with whom we have an investment relationship, complying with the law and dealing sensitively with local differences. We have a substantial presence in the markets where we offer financial services. We believe in the power of relationships to deliver a quality deal-flow.
Fusion Investment Management Africa-focused fund and investment management, based in London and Nairobi.
Fusion Capital A hybrid business-financing and private equity house, operating from Nairobi, Kigali, and Kampala.
Fusion Estates Management Masterplanning, development and real-estate management for the group and its clients, covering residential estates, and commercial assets across East Africa.
The three businesses work together. Fusion Investment Management raises the capital that funds Fusion Capital’s deals, and Fusion Capital brings the resulting deal flow to Fusion Investment Management’s investors. Fusion Estates Management looks after the property and real estate assets those deals produce, handling day-to-day operations, tenants and sites. With teams in three East African cities, the group has close local business knowledge and is an active participant in the African growth story.
